Totsuko is a high school student with the ability to see the « colors » of others. The colors of bliss, excitement, and serenity, as well as the color she considers her favourite. Her classmate Kimi creates the most beautiful color. Although Totsuko doesn’t play an instrument, she forms a band with Kimi and Rui, a quiet music lover they meet in a remote part of town at a used bookstore. As they practice in an old church on a remote island, music brings them together, forming friendships, and sparking affections. Will they find their true « colors »?
